Our mission is to create film and digital media content to educate and support cancer survivors, the fertility-challenged, and those at risk. This first documentary will start a dialogue about cancer and infertility, building a support network for women so we don’t have to go it alone.

This documentary is a never before seen story about a stage 4 breast cancer survivor’s journey to start a family through egg donation and surrogacy. On Trish Russo’s 30th birthday, she and her husband, Greg, welcomed a new exciting decade with burgeoning careers, hopes of starting a family, and finding a home to raise that family. But 6 months later, Trish was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. Doctors advised it unsafe to harvest her eggs before starting aggressive treatment: chemo, radiation, and surgery. After a year of treatment, they celebrated that scans showed Trish was cancer-free. As recommended by their doctors, they committed to starting their family after another year of hormone therapy to prevent cancer recurrence. Their plan was derailed in February 2013 when they discovered Trish had a brain tumor. The brain surgery was thankfully successful but this new, stage 4 diagnosis, dashed their hopes of having a family the traditional way. In February 2014, feeling hopeless about starting a family, Trish learned about her options using alternative reproductive technology (ART). As a visual learner, she looked for content she could watch. There was nothing. She had no idea where this journey was going to take her but she knew she had to share it and started filming.
